Case Study: Heinz | Uber Eats | Nectar First

The Challenge

The team at Nectar First was heading up an activation for their client Heinz in partnership with Uber Eats.

They wanted to make a big splash at the National Restaurant Association Trade Show in Chicago to introduce Heinz Verified, the first-ever verification program on Uber Eats.

We were tasked with coming up with branded giveaways that would bring people to their booth and create a buzz at the event.

The Collaboration

Both teams were determined to come up with bespoke items that made sense for the program and would be sought after by conference attendees. It is pretty simple: give people things they want and you will drive up your engagement.

We landed on sleek Heinz Pantone matched mag-safe pop sockets, to tie into the phone + Uber order theme.
We paired the sockets with custom slides, an item that is on trend these days and hits the mark on appropriate footwear to sport when answering the door to collect your Uber Eats order.

The Result

The weekend event was an overwhelming success. The team at Nectar First was incredibly pleased with the brand exposure achieved. Apparently, the slides flew off the shelves and helped bring a lot of conversations to the booth.
